sending sms through gsm modem

i have developed a small code by referring different examples, my project is to send sms to one number via gsm modem, instead of typing AT COMMANDS , i simply passing AT+CMGS="9965844325"
and a message " hello buddy" to the serial por, the code is

there is no error in the code while running the code console shows
Found port:COM1
AT+CMGS=9965844325
=996T+CMGS
lowo325hel
rld

OK




. but the message is not delivered to the mobile 9965844325, i checked my modem by sending message through http terminal it is delivered successfully, can any one tell how to send the command AT+CMGS="9965844325" and message "HELLO BUDDY" to the modem to deliver the message successfullly, if the error is in code means please assist me to complete the project
