Hi Friends,

After 45 days struggle I could clear SCDJWS 5.

I feel it’s not very difficult but it needs lot of practice and in depth knowledge. You need to have clear understanding of each and every objective and usage. Because this exam is complete theoretical and scenario based (as I felt).

I want to personally thank to MZ, Ivan and RMH for their very clear material.

And also thank to Anbu Vignesh for sharing good stuff for the exam and all those who shared their exam experience.

Special thanks to JAVA RANCH.

In the exam I got many scenarios with multiple options so it was very difficult to select correct options.

Wish you good luck for who are preparing for the exam.

Congratulations, sammeta Phanikumar ! will you be willing to share more detail how did you prepare for the exam? what advice for those who are preparing for the exam? I am currently using Java Passion and Ivan's materials. I also learn WSIT tutorials, and XMl related techniques. Not sure these will cover enough in the exam. Thanks a lot

Thanks for all your wishes,

I just gone through MZ, Ivan matrial and practiced some of the coding in these matirial.

I read many concepts in the RMH book, like fundamentals soap, wsdl etc

And I practiced Java Web Services UP and Running, it makes you feel confident.

All I can suggest... go through the MZ and Ivan metrial (both) and pracice codes in Ivans and Java Web Services Up And Running.

Good Luck

Passing percentage is 42% only. There are many discussions are going on the forum but still it is 42% only.

That surprised me, passing score less than 50%.
