Hello Everybody,

Are there any mock assignments for practising SCEA Part 2 readiness? I searched but they all point to paid ones.

Any help and suggestions for SCEA part 2 will be appreciated.

Thanks and Regards,
Chetan

Hi Chetan, as far as i know Sun SCEA part 2 is an assignment based exam and does not have questions to be answered like the part 1 exam. you will need to take the assignment from sun and then submit it in a given time frame and the evaluation is done on the assignment.

hope this helps

Thanks Sudeepa.

Yaa I know that..Actually I was looking for sample assignments to check for prepardeness..

Please share your thoughts whether it is advisable to go directly for actual assignment from SUN without any practise?

If someone can share how delierables were produced, that will be great help.

Thanks and Regards,
Chetan

Hi Chetan,
I am also in the same situation as you. Luckily, I got a book of Mark Cade (for the old version though) from my friend which has a sample assignment. After reading the assignment, I am thinking its important to work on this first, create a design and then validate it against the solution given by Cade in the book. For example, after reading the assignment I am getting so many doubts about various things.
I am looking to buy the book for the 5.0 version (not sure if one such thing is available).

I think preparing in such a way will correct our mistakes and also improve our confidence - this should help us in finishing the actual assignment faster - though this will take more time...

epractize labs has a part 2/3 simulator. It is obvious you will need to go into much more depth but it is a start.

I am close to submitting part 2. I will look up cade book and see if check his example to my assignment.

Could you people clarify these doubts about Part 2 ?

1. Is there any time limit to submit the Part2 assignment, after I purchased it ?
2. If there is a time limit, How much it is ?

Also want to know, after completing the Part1, Do I need to do the Part 2 immediately or Can I have a break of 1 or 2 months ?

There is a time limit of 1 year after you downloading the assignment.

You can take gap for Part-II after you finish Part-I. How many no. of months? it is up to you.

Best regards,
Sri.
