installing Netbeans

i installed netbeans 6.0.when i am going to install it normally it select c/programm file as path.
But i change it to the D drive
1)is there any problem installing netbeans to D drive?
2)also i installed tomcat and glassfish to D drive .is it problem?

3)why normally software install to C:programm file folder?

What happened when you tried it?

The "C:\Program Files" is just the default place to install programs on Windows machines. I haven't installed anything to "C:\Program Files" in years; I keep most of my apps on a different drive out of habit. Depending on the program it may or may not make any difference at all.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
