I have to include a webpage into my existing web application, this webpage required basic authentication, so when i include this webpage into my jsp page and run i get a basic authentication pop up window, is there a way i can pass user id, password in header or some thing so i dont get this authentication window, any suggestions

It would depend on the webpage. Can you use cookies to remember the user is already logged in? Is it a standard form?

Can this be solved by using session?

Store userid or something while user Do login and remove it when user Log Out. by doing this you can track user login at any instance.

Then this is the first thing you should find out. You won't be able to log in from your application if you don't know how log-in should be done.
