grails for unexperienced developer ?

i am not an expert in web development i am a beginner really ,do you think learning grails
would be good /bad for me and is the book suitable for someone like me?

However, you should have some prior experience in developing a web application! It is a prerequisite!

i do have some experience in wed development but not very much only basic stuf
the question is if i should keep learning java web developing and maybe other things too before i get in too grails or i sould start grails and i'll get the experience on the way?

does learning you'r book require more than basic web development concept?

Hi Mikey,

Grails is an easier way to do Java web development. So, I think it's a great place to start. Once you get going, I would encourage you to learn more about the underlying tools and technologies. It's always good to keep learning, but there's no reason you can't get some stuff done and have fun while you're at it.
