Hi,
Just wondering in general were people who did the scjd project able to make this gui code generic and what were they able to make generic? Would like to do this, but finding difficult to spot opportunities for this with swing.
Thanks.

Hi Mark,

What do you mean with making your GUI generic? Is it like just applying generics, so something like MyPanel<Room> for example (I didn't have such code in my gui classes)? Or do you mean something else?

Kind regards,
Roel

I think he means, something like making an abstract class, and having other classes extend it. Something related to reusability, I guess...

Hi guys,

Its important to wonder about the project scope, sometimes the task to make it reusable could cost you a lot of work and produce a lot of code that isn't necessary to this project.
