Hi,

I passed the SCJP today with a score of 63%.
Although it is not a very good score, I am happy that I've passed.

I would like to thank Kathy Sierra & Bert Bates for their excellent book; and Devaka Cooray for his brilliant ExamLab.
And also thank you to all the ranchers who cleared my doubts, and for this wonderful forum.

Now that I've cleared SCJP, can anyone please guide me what is the next certification I can do and what are the books I have to get.

Thank you.

Congrats friend !!!

enjoy the success

Next exam/certification depends on your intrest

You can go for SCWCD (if you have intrest in JSPs), SCBCD (if you have intrest in EJB) or SCJWS (if you have intrest in Web Services)

Hi,

Thank you everybody for your wishes and advice.

I am going to go for SCWCD. I ordered "Head First Servlets & JSP" book.
Because I don't work in the same field, will it be difficult to do this course without any tutoring?

Thanks..

Even if you do not have prior exerience in JSP and Servlets, reading from HFSJ book will not be difficult as this book explained each topic from very basic. make sure you actually try out all concepts related to JSP and Servlets practically using any Servlet container (like Tomcat)

Thanks guys for the wishes.
Thanks Abhay for the info.

I'm thinking to go to Chennai, and do the JSP related training course. Do you know any good training centres in Chennai.

Thank you.

The best thing that you did -- it's not the right time to worry about the score
