Imagine you are alone in a boat in the middle of an ocean, have two cigarettes with you and no matchsticks or a lighter to light them.

How would you light them?

P.S : Remember this is Meaningless drivel

The question was how would you light them and not what you would do with them.

Anyways , If you had to light them and THEN throw it away, how would you do it?

I wear glasses. Use them to focus the light until they lit. Then I'd realize that the boat, too was on fire and proceed to panic.

But that's just me.

Flare
Welding Torch
Gas Stove Top
Flint rock
Laser Gun

None of which you excluded from being on the boat.

He also didn't specify the boat, so I would use the afterburner on the fighter jet on the flight deck .

And i thought i was smart..

My answer

1. Throw one of them in the ocean, and the boat would become LIGHTER as a result. Use the LIGHTER to light.
2. Throw them in the air and catch them. If you follow cricket, you'd know, catches win matches. Use the match to light.
3. Praise one cigarette and Voila, the other would burn out of jealousy.

My meaninglessness pales in comparison to all of you.

My original intention was never to get smart replies from you but to show my smartness. I obviously failed.

I remember there was a version of Unix where you could type:

> make fire
Cannot make fire

> Why not?
No match

By the way, if it were me, I'd light both cigarettes with a single spotlight and a blue gel. But that's just me.

I would stand up holding a cigarette in each hand waiting for lightning to ignite them.

I'm so happy! And I wish to make this tiny ad happy too:
