Oh no.. I tried out on ExamLab and it is damn hard. I only manage to get 40% for Practice Exam 1. Am I ready for the exam?

Welcome to javaranch Allan. Mock exams are meant to be tough. There are many that score low. How much did you score in the master exam that came with the kathy and bert book (if you have that).

If you have the confidence you should go ahead and take the exam

I scored over 90% in scjptest.com. I thought the real exam would be that easy but probably not. I have rescheduled the exam to two weeks later.

Unfortunately, I can't find the K&B book everyone is talking about in the local bookstore here. I am in Papua New Guinea where education resources are very limited.

I will redo the ExamLab questions a few more times. The Practice Exam 1 really had my confidence lost.

Practicing the same exam more than once can usually lead to false results. You can try more mock exams here -> http://faq.javaranch.com/java/ScjpFaq#mocks

You could buy it on Internet, for example from Amazon, and have it sent to you. They ship products worldwide.

do not loose your confidence
Avoid benchmarking your preparation ( and readiness for SCJP exam) against your score in Examlab mock exams.
Examlabs are a bit difficult but as mentioned earlier make sure you understand the underlying concept that each question has. Try Master exam that comes up in CD with SCJP 5 guide.
