If you're in the states, the best (arguably) day is the day after Thanksgiving.

"Best" being a relative term. Sure the laptop is cheaper in money, but not in blood, sweat, and tears from the fights to get it.

I was going to ask my friend to get it; but I don't want her to reconsider our relationship after that!

The sad part is, I'm not entirely making that up. People have actually died from being trampled during Black Friday sales.....

Can you ask her to get me one? She won't have to reconsider her relationship with me!!

    Hi,

I saw in one of the websites they are giving upto 25% off on laptops but its mentioned as early bird sale which is valid till 25th of this month. Do you think they may further reduce the price after 25th of this month? Since thanksgiving day is on 26th

I have seen many deals having same configuration/features but different prices with/out special occasions. It's not that you got to compromise in quality.

Here's a Black Friday reality check: Of the hordes of pre-dawn shoppers who line up for hours outside stores on the day after Thanksgiving, most will not bag the best bargains that appear in merchants' circulars.

Same question - whether Laptops and camcoders are cheaper for Christmas or Post Christmas and before New Year ?

From my experience (and having no data to back this up, could be entirely wrong) deals pre-Christmas and post-Christmas tend to be very similar. At this point in the game, I think it would be better to wait for after Christmas sales, though, as opposed to fighting last-minute shoppers.

    I hate crowds, though.....
