I am just starting to learn Java using "Java For Total Beginners" at http://eclipsetutorial.sourceforge.net/.
The tutorial is referencing a previous Eclipse version that I have installed. I am using the Galileo version.

I have been having problems at about chapter 11 of the tutorial. I test the code and get an addBook error. The books do not populate in the array. I have restarted the class from scratch and have come to the same point.

My questions are just beginning... DA DA DA DUNNNNN

Can I take the project that I have built and share it with someone on the network so that they may look at my coding and find the error?

Welcome to JavaRanch

Please post what you have. As long as it isn't very very long. Also the error messages.

A lot of us (myself included) would recommend you avoid IDEs (eg Eclipse) until you are much more experienced.

if you are a total beginner, i would recommend NOT using eclipse at all. It will do a lot of stuff behind the scenes you will be totally unaware of, which can make understand what is really going on MUCH harder.

But, caveat emptor.
