Technology keeps on changing. To keep yourself on your toes, you upgrade and learn new things. You enjoy learning and taming new technologies. Over the years you learn to choose the right tool for a given task.
Somewhere down the line, you get a feeling, all this has been done before. You end up with some frameworks which you need to tweak and presto, your solution is ready. Nothing new left to do.
How does one cope up with this kind of scenario? This sort of mental dissatisfaction? Does your book provide any clues to come out of this situation?
