We have built the project on eclipse with JDK compliance level 5.0 and then deployed it on WebSphere which is having 1.5 compatible JVM (IBM J9 VM).

There is spring-hibernate as a part of this project. When WebSphere is started, I get the following exception -



If I use IBM jdk to compile the project, it works fine.

Are Sun and IBM JVM's not inter-compatible? Any idea how to take care of such problem?
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
