Hi. I have this requirement to create a page index at the end of a report. Has anyone ever approached this?
My idea is like this:
* create a data source implementation that would accept new elements
* create a scriptlet that would add new row to this data source and that it evaluated for every row - meaning that for each row evaluated, some object name and page would be added to the data source
* have some way of putting the index in the template - for example by creating out own custom XML tag, that would handle the scriptlet and data source itself
* when the report engine gets to this index element (at the end of the report), the page index data source described earlier would be filled, and the index would be generated

Does this make any sense to you?

Regrds,
Raf
