friends This is regarding validation framework Generally, for validation framework, we declare <form-bean> in struts-config.xml and use the form name in validatiion.xml and give the field names in validation.xml , which need to be validated and in JSP, we use something like this. <html:form action="/xyz..." onsubmit=return validateempform(this);"> But, somewhere in some examples, I saw something like this... <html:form action="/xyz..." name="empform" type=com.xyz.abc.empForm" onsubmit=return validateempform(this);"> What is teh difference between the above.. When we already decalred formname and type in Strts-config.xml, why is it required to mention it again in html:form action tag?? Is there any advantage using the second approach? Please help me uderstand this.. Any exampple are better for my understanding.,. Thanks in advance..
