Hey Guys,
Some days ago ,i was listening one of Bryan Adams' hit 'Cloud No 9'.
I tried very hard to figure out what does it actually mean by 'Cloud No 9 '?? Is it like any phrase ,or any idea of context from where this word is originated?

That's interesting! "Seventh heaven" has the same meaning in English, and it rhymes. You'll say "I'm in seventh heaven!" to mean that you've very happy.

The problem with that Wiki Answers link is that it cites "The Dictionary of Word and Phrase Origins", by William and Mary Morris, a source that is nearly always wrong. I believe they were just making stuff up. The best source for word origins is "The Word Detective", a weekly column (with an online archive) written by Evan Morris, who is, oddly enough, William and Mary's son. He cites his parents' theory, but in a polite way says they were full of fertilizer. That's often the case when he cites his parents. Unfortunately, he doesn't really have a definitive answer, but you can read what he has at: http://www.word-detective.com/030698.html (search for Cloud Nine).

Well not only this, but there are many English - Hindi words synonymous in pronounce and rhymes, like
"Mata" means "Mother" , "Navami" means "Nine", "din" means "day" and many more.

Its said that Sanskritis the mother of many languages and some (basic) English words came from Sanskrit.
