I have some doubts regarding application developed in java for jtapi( example dialing a number i have downloaded one sample code)
while running the code i am getting j speakerphone indicating there is no provider and while dialing its indicating no valid terminal,i think provider means tsp(telephonic service provider)
The operating system i am using is windows xp and the modem is agere systems HDA modem using comm3, i can able to dial to a number from outlook express.
after reading one article i came to know that application that are developed using java cannot access modem directly by passing AT commands,so we need jtapi for our application to access modem i.e java telephonic application -->jtapi -->modem(if this scenario is wrong means very sorry)

how to setup my machine so that i can develop a application in java that will interface with tapi --> modem.what are the configuration i have to do for this application development can any one assit me regarding this, expecting a quick reply
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
