I'm trying to write a bookmarklet. When I tested it on my local machine (with HTML on my file system), I saw the expected result in the text area on the web page. When I try the same thing on a page host elsewhere, the alert outputs the expected value of 'Hello World', but I don't see it on the screen. Am I supposed to be doing something to refresh the content?

It is an https page. Not sure if that matters.
