Hi Friends..

Sorry, perhaps this probably common question..
i want to provide username and password for particular WebService..
as far as i browse, if we want to implement JAX-WS Security (through expose EJB as WebService), we've to describe the Security implementation in ejb-jar.xml

and then how to add user and password for user who want to access that WebService?..
is it similar with add user and password for user who want to access WebApplication (in Container Managed Security)?..

Please correct me if i'm wrong..

Thanks in advance..

GlassFish uses the Metro SOAP stack which includes WS-Security support. The Metro user's guide (on dev.java.net) has examples of how to use that for implementing username/password authentication.

Hi..

i try to inject EJB in Servlet which exposed as WebService, perhaps its another solution to secure it..
and then does BASIC Authentication with FILE realm is enough for securing WebService?..

please correct me if i'm wrong..

Thanks in advance..
