Struts 1.1 and latest Struts versions....

Hi Ranchers,
I bought Professional Jakarta Struts 1.1 (WROX Publication) book three years back.
Just reviewing this book and seeing what's latest on Jakarta Struts site. I felt many differences.

Could anybody tell me. Is 1.1 still the base for latest versions or there are major differences so I need to just trash this book and get the latest from the Market.

A lot has changed. Struts 2 is completely different. Sturts 1.3 has changed some. I recommend using a different book.

Its a huge difference betn Struts1 & 2. The terminologies, new feartures interceptor,valuestake,OGNL are major.

S1.1 wasn't current three years ago, either; 1.3 had been out for some time.

As mentioned, S2 is a completely different framework.

Quite frankly, I see no good reason to learn S1 unless you have a specific need to do so.
