How who won? All four winners looks like they have valid winning posts.

And the system automatically excludes the welcome post from the drawing -- so we don't have to check (and reject) if it is the welcome post that triggered it.

Thanks again to Rainer, and congrats to all the winners !!

Congrats to the winners by me, too. It was a pleasure to discuss with all of you.

For further questions please also have a look at the ICEfaces forum, that I track regularly.

BTW: Yesterday I put some more ICEfaces book background information on Amapedia.

Winners are not chosen from the welcome topic. In fact, posts in the welcome topic are specifically mentioned as not eligible for the drawing.

Posts that are eligible are those in the forum where the promotion is taking place, posted after the time of the welcome topic, to the time of the drawing. There are some other rules, which apply -- that you can review here....

Also, for those who are interested.... The winners are picked (at random) in an automated fashion. We, as moderators, do not pick the winners -- we sometimes reject a choice, based on a violation of the rules (but that is rarely done).
