I am wondering if GWT implicitly supports a Push model.
I got data shared between multiple clients. If one of the clients changes such common data, the other clients need to get a refreshed copy. One way could be to keep on polling the server after x time interval. Is there any means of pushing it from the server side something like JSM approach?

Well.....
How about request builder ?

Client sends a request with a timeout of approx 5 minutes...
server starts a thread for the rpc invocation
Server responds as and when required,
after 5 mins, client resends request...

problem with this approach:
server threads !!

advantages:
better than polling
