Prevent Killing Process From Task Manager(both applications and processes)  RSS feed

HI All,

Can any one help me ?.i have developed one application using java (netbeans 6.7.1).but i have to develop a program such that no one can kill /terminate the process except administrator.please provide me any links or any code which will do this job.

i have tried lot but i dint get.i don want start copy of the same process as soon as terminated/killed the first process.cos in that time gap any one can steel my data.so please help me in this.how to Prevent Killing Process From Task Manager(both applications and processes).

I don't know if Windows allows this. I believe (but I'm not sure) you can catch and ignore the SIGKILL signal in Unix; this is the signal that is sent when the application is killed.

Someone wanted nearly the same thing here (scroll to the bottom to read the actual posts), and I do think that some of them have a point. If you start the process as an admin user then no non-admin user should be able to kill your process.

Its fine even if admin can not kill the process if he logged in as admin.I want in windows.please give me some clues or any article.
