Guys,

I recently came across this post which talks about installing the Sense UI on Samsung Galaxy. I'm however quite unsure about this. Just wanted to ask if anyone already try this? Below is the link to the video and the original blog.

I'm slowly realizing that I made a mistake buying this phone. Heard from someone in Javaranch that Samsung will be launching its own Mobile OS. If yes, then I feel they would be more interested in promoting their OS than the Android. So for all those interested in buying an Android phone from Samsung, give a thought.

Was that someone me?
I personally dont think Samsung would just stop supporting Android they are a part of Open Handset Alliance besides, they have Galaxy customers too.

Yes, but I feel it would not be like the HTC where the only focus will be on Android.

No, I have not tried any such thing.
But a lot of people try lots of different things with their phones; take the guys at xda developers for instance, they keep churning out new ROMs and MODs for Android and with useful features too. I know people who have used their MODs on phones;

It is your choice whether you want to go ahead and play with your phone.

I would really like to play with my phone, but the problem is if something goes wrong I"m just wondering what to do. The Samsung website says that the warranty would be void if we install any third party ROM's apart from the one provided by Samsung. Now this is a little bit irritating. Till date there is no official update on the new firmware version for the Galaxy. So I thought why not try changing the UI atleast. Now I'm confined to do nothing with my phone apart from just executing some simple apps which I could have done just with the emulator.

Tongue wrestling. It's not what you think. And here, take this tiny ad. You'll need it.
