Root cause - Why Jimmy lost his Job

Jimmy lost his job because the company went for cost cutting. Cost cutting because of recession. Recession because of consumer debt. Consumer debt because Jimmy contributed to it. Jimmy contributed to it because he worried. He worried because he feared of unrest in the family. Unrest because he couldnt convince. Couldnt convice as his wife was adamant. Adamant because she always wanted have a little more than her neighbor.

Only indirectly related, but "blaming the wife" is also a root cause -- not for losing a job, but for something else... something related to "sleeping in the doghouse"...
