Hi All,
I have a core java application running on a server in the form of a thread.
The problem is when ever windows is logged off the tread terminates. How
I can prevent this through programming so the thread always keeps running even if
someone try to stop it force fully.

Welcome to JavaRanch.

How are you running the code? If it's as a daemon (on Unix etc.) or a service (on Windows) then it should continue to run after logout. See http://wrapper.tanukisoftware.org/doc/english/download.jsp for a solution to this.
