hi all ,

is Annotations necessary for SCBCD latest version? as i dont know anything about annotations please guide me as i have purchased head first ejb and planning to prepare and appear for that exam

yes, annotations are necessary for 310-091 exam. I think it would be useful for to read "ejb3 in action"

You should not read the Head First EJB book. It only covers EJB 2.1! EJB3 in action is a fine suggestion indeed.

hi all,

i dont know anything about annnotations,how should i start up with annotations,when i googled i found annotations in xml,hibernate and in java.what is all about annotations.

You'll find some explanations in this guide. But since you have to learn almost everything from scratch, you'd better buy a book like EJB3 In Action.

so EJB3 In Action will tell me about annotations too,so that further studying will be easy?(i mean understanding the concepts about ejb)

Yes, you should buy EJB3 In Action, or any other recommended books listed at ScbcdLinks. Head First EJB is for the old SCBCD1.3 (EJB2.x). You really really need a new book about EJB3.0.
