Effect of Oracle-Sun on certification exams

Hi!

What will happen to certifications once Sun becomes part of Oracle? Will these exams exist? Will these exams have the same value they have now? Is it good to wait and take the SCWCD exam sometime later after the merging process?

There have been similar discussions in the past about this. Nobody knows what will happen in the future. I don't think oracle will discontinue the exams, they might be called OCWCD (Oracle Certified .....). Whether you want to wait or not is your personal choice...
