Hi

First of all I am sorry to post a interview question here .
Please tell me what is meant by phantom memory

All authors say this

Phantom memory is false memory. Memory that does not exist in reality.

Can anybody please let me know what is this meant actually .

Did searching the web for it not help? I got a lot of hits, including sample code and explanations, when I searched.

Why don't you do some of your own research?

Well, if you got that during an interview, the first thing you should ask for is clarification... like... Is this referring to phantom references?

I think you missed my point. My point was that the interviewer was likely talking about phantom references, and you should have asked if this was the case. To say that you don't know something, because the interviewer accidentally used a different term from what you know, is silly. Ask for clarification. And if you know it as something else, suggest it.
