Today, I run A sample web app, when i login, i find the address bar show something like 'mainMenu.jspa', but i only have a mainMenu.jsp file. How does it come to that?

first:
http://localhost:8080/mpc/login.jsp

after i login:
http://localhost:8080/mpc/mainMenu.jspa

in applicationContext-security.xml, i found this:

there is a "/mainMenu.jspa" in property "defaultTargetUrl":

but all i have is a mainMenu.jsp

i really feel puzzled!

Thanks for your attention!

It's nothing that the browser or container are doing. There must be code in your application that is doing this.

So, why don't you change that in the xml document ?
If you need to know about defaultTargetUrl element, have a look at this article.

Thanks a lot , the defaultTargetUrl is used by redirect, that's why the address become /mainMenu.jspa.
