Hello, I am new to the forums and couldn't find rules concerning this. I am reading a book by O'Reilly, "Learning Java". There are some code examples in the book that I have questions about. Is it OK for me to post the code in a post (in the appropriate forum) and ask my question?

I wanted to make sure there were no copyright issues with me doing that....

Thanks

David,
I don't know that there is an official rule. A code snippet (say 10 lines) is clearly ok and pages of code is not. In between is a judgment call. In the spirit of asking a question I think it is fine.

My recommendation is to post the part that pertains to your question. If it is a problem, one of us moderators will cull it and then you'll know!

Great, thanks for the reply. I didn't want to start breaking the rules, especially being new here!
