problem on calling J2EE

I have made a jsplike this

<form method="post" action=simpleservlet.do>
<input type="text" name="name"></input>
<input type="submit" value="submit"></input>
</form>


and aservlet class called simpleservlet and configured in web.xml like this

<servlet>
<description>
</description>
<display-name>simpleservlet</display-name>
<servlet-name>simpleservlet</servlet-name>
<servlet-class>
com.tcs.simpleservlet</servlet-class>
</servlet>
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>simpleservlet</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/simpleservlet</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>


but when running getting 500 error and called class com.tcs.simpleservlet not found.where is the issue .i cannot find it out
