CPU performance/hard disk performance in java  RSS feed

hi all..

i want to show cpu performance or Hard Disk performance in my application using java.
the code must be independent os.
can i do that?looking forward for the replies.

the code must be independent os.


There is no single OS independent way of getting at system statistics like CPU use - you will need a way to detect the OS and then execute specific utilities, capturing the output.
