Acc to K & B ..sleep is a static method and one thraed cant put other threads to sleep then here how cm code is compiling and we getting valid answers??? The question is from Self Test question no.12 chapter: Threads of K & B

Since sleep() is a static method, it will put the current thread(that is laurel) to sleep even if the method is invoked using a reference to hardy.

Static Methods in a Class can be invoked using either the ClassName or the reference variable of the Class , it doesnt matter
