What do you do when you send an inappropriate mail to whole group? Recall is not an option.

I am feeling very bad about it.

Well, it would depend on what it was, exactly. If it was something you deliberately sent to a whole group, but then thought better of, the best thing to do is apologize to everyone, perhaps explaining the feelings that led to the mail. You can do this by email.

The other common case is that intended to say something nasty about person X to person Y, but instead sent it to a group. Now you need to apologize to Y, and you somehow need to make it up to them: a gift, a social invitation, something. And you need to apologize in person, not by email.

Some years ago, I sent a porn mail to our college yahoo group, mistakenly & realized just after that what I have done. I immediately sent an apology mail saying that please ignore previous mail.

Still all girls ended contact with me after that.

Don't you think it's a bit too late for asking what to do?

Or, are you planning on doing the same again and hence asking what to do this time?

I think Gmail has a feature where you have a certain amount of time to cancel before the mail finally reaches your recipients inbox

Doesn't it reach almost in no time to receivers?

That is one of the Gmail lab feature "Undo Send by Yuzo F". you need to enable the feature to use it.

Those cherries would go best on cherry cheesecake. Don't put those cherries on this tiny ad:
