so does that mean we'll have to override method within enum and not in the class we are using enum

Yes a enum cannot be abstract although a enum method can. Then it must be overriden in a constant.

Just a little correction, the abstract method must be overridden in all the enum constants (I know this is what you meant Wouter, but I wrote this just for anyone who might get confused)...
