Hi All,

I had completed my SCJP 1.4 & SCWCD in 2006. After that I could not gave my time to upgrade to SCJP 5. Now, I am planning to do further upgrade so I think to do it for Java 6 (either 310-065 or 310-066). Which one I should do "Upgrade to 6" or "New 6". As per my knowledge and understanding scjp certification is valid for 2 years so can I give the upgrade for 6?

Also, Is this right time to go with new exams of JDK 6? what is success ration compare to JDK 5.?

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,
N. Patel

Hi Nitesh, it took you almost 2 years to post your first message since registering

The SCJP certificate is now valid for infinite time, it doesn't expire. I would recommend that you go for the upgrade exam 310-066 as you are already SCJP from previous version. SCJP 5 is too old now, so go for SCJP 6...

[Edit: Changed not to now]
