It's over 2 years old now. I think if Sun was going to make a case of it (a la "J++"), they would have.

Ohh!!! If its 2 years old? What is the current situation of it?

Can any one please tell me what is market value of Android?

I want to develop the application for Android. I know very little about the Android. Can any please tell me in Layman's language, which softwares should be installed(eg. i only know it requires some SDK) in which sequence?

I even don't know what exactly Android is!!! (a phone, a technology, a hardware, a server or somthing else...).
