Hi All ,

Could any one please provide me pointers for opensource distributed cache implementation ?
We have a requirement to build a system which has a root node connected to n child nodes . CACHE SERVER resides on root , and instructions are sent to child nodes from the root for data processing . Once data is processed the child updates the cache of CACHE SERVER or root .

This architecture should also be scalable and we should be able to add child nodes .

Thanks in advance .

Varun,

Apart from the caching libraries specified in the link provided by Ulf Dittmer, there is also Terracotta Server which scales applications very well. It also has failover mechanism.

Try it out. http://terracotta.org/
