SCEA Part II: what does it indicate by "the system is accessed using a web services API"

I can't see what I should include in my design to reflect this indication. What does it want me to do? ...

Howdy Greenhorn!

I think that simply means you pull data through the system using a webs service. So, reflect that. I guess you don't know exactly what type of web service, version, or specific protocol or implementation the remote system has, so it just says 'web services' API, but the point is, you can interact with it using Web Services.
