Types of object on JNDI

Hi All,

I would like to know

What all kind of objects we can store on the JNDI ? and What is LDAP ?

Can we store any kind of object on JNDI ???

I'm not aware of any limitations for JNDI. People commonly store resources though - Connections, Queues, EJB Home interfaces, etc.

LDAP stands for Lightweight Directory Access Protocol. It is commonly used for looking up user information. Wikipedia has a lot on LDAP, so I won't repeat that here.
