*coughs* MCAD is an old certification - if you look at the versions, it's talking about .Net 1.0 and 1.1, which
are retired.
Microsoft Learning's certification pages do list the modern 3.5 and 2.0 certifications which are currently valid, and I know that they're starting the process of writing the exams for .Net 4.0. MCTS is the 'entry' level cert (equivalent to the
SCJP), and MCPD is the advanced.
