Please be sure to ask Struts questions in the Struts forum. I have moved this post there for you.

Also, please check your private messages for an important administrative matter.

Udhayan, struts doesn't need any installation, if you want to include struts in a project, then you have to include all the struts libraries in your eclipse project, that's all. If you want to simplify your work of creating struts project, then you can use an eclipse plugin for struts. You didn't tell us which version of struts you are using. For Struts 1.x, this plugin seems to be good. For Struts 2.x, this plugin looks good (although I've not used any of these plugins)...

@ Ankit :

Hi.

include all the struts libraries in your eclipse project, that's all.

I tried to include all the jars of struts 1.2-lib into my project's lib folder. ( one more thing. adding jars to class path conveys the same meaning as adding jars to lib folder ?? ) Still, didn't work ....

Any advice ?

Where is the 'lib' directory within your project? Did you place them in WEB-INF/lib for example?

Can you please list all the Jar files you included (the complete file names)?

What does "Still, didn't work ..." mean? How can you expect anyone to help you with your problem if you can't even tell us what error your getting?

As Mark said, ItDoesntWorkIsUseless, tell us exactly what is happening. Are you getting an exception at deployment time?? Can you show us your web.xml (only the part related to Struts) and the struts-config.xml file...

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
