Hi ranchers,

I want to know how one can go to onsite through the organization that he works. Some companies send after 3 years or only if there is urgent requirement from the client about that consultant. I am specifically talking within organization.

I mean what should i do in my organization, so that i can get onsite opportunity earlier. Whatever the thoughts from you people , please share.

Work hard, stand out and be noticed for your good work.
Why this crave towards going onsite?

I don't think hard work important here. Internal things like politics and mostly depend on the project manager.

First thing you shud the skills set that is required for the requirement. this may be technical skills or management skills.
if you feel if you have the skills, discuss with your reporting manager and set your expectations clearly.

Vijay,

In my experience, i would say it's all nothing but pure luck & fate !!

In my current company, which is well known for lots of onsite opportunities, i still didn't get a chance for that.

So, i would personally say to try by yourself & also improve your technical skills which would definitely help you in the long run.

Which country are you aspiring for??
