I am having multiple pages in my system.

Now I am in a stage going to start devel..

Need to decide
- whether to go with multiple forms or
- to go with only one form that contains all the fields of multiple pages.

Pls let me know, which is advantageous and are there any limitations on each approach?

Small app - 1 actionform in session scope

Big app - multiple actionforms in request scope

It is neither too big app nor small app, it's a network config product, may grow bigger, if the config settings increase in the future..

If I go for the multiple forms approach... I think need to replicate almost 80% of the same fields in each form.

Is it not the best way to take the one big form in the request scope?

How are 80% of the fields replicated?

The forms should only ask for data once. Is it that you are presenting data entered from previous pages as text???
