This question is regarding iReport and JRXML and i am not sure , i have chosen the right post category.Pardon me if i havent

1) I have designed a PDF in iReport and
the data in the PDF should be taken from a Custom datasource (probably a hashmap or arraylist) . How can i do this?

2) I have a table in the PDF design which should get populated with values from the datasource. The datasource can have a finite number of records or rows .But i want only 10 records/rows printed in one page of the PDF. How can i regulate the number of records printed from a datasource?

I would be extremely obliged if someone could provide me steps to accomplish this task.

Thank you in advance
