Given that I have intermediate experience of the Struts framework how would your book help me in increasing my knowledge? How much in detail do you cover the advance topics(Struts Validator Framework,Dynamic Forms and Tiles etc)?.Can it be used as a reference?
Do you discuss best practices and design strategies/pitfalls ?

Thanks in advance.

After going through the book personally I feel it is relevant for people wanting to gain basic level understanding of the Struts framework. IMHO this doesnt target the advance level reader.

I guess public forum is for everyone. Not only for you and the author, I believe. So anyone may reply to the question that you target to the author... But why u are so serious on the others' posts? U can even get greater advices from others as well... So please don't lock the thread for only you and the author...

I believe others see that also...

Ko Ko Naing

My questions were only targeted to the author or anybody who has already read the book.I had no intentions of locking anybody out.

Amer,

Struts: The Complete Reference should be useful for intermediate Struts developers as well as beginners. It has a full chapter devoted to each of the following topics: Validator, Tiles, Security and Unit Testing, as well as Modules.

Hope that helps,

i agree, this is a forum for everyone. However i will try to answer you initial question as well.

Do you discuss best practices and design strategies/pitfalls ?

if you are looking for a struts pitfalls and therefore best practices book, there is a book that specifically deals with those topics.

again, hope it helps. On the other hand it would help if you read teh full reference as described in this thread.
