Hi,
I created a simple web application for displaying a tree. It is running very fast on my local jboss 4.2.2 but when I deploy it on remove jboss 4.2.2, it is taking a lot of time.

Can anybody help me?

Regards,
Shailesh

Did you check or profile what exactly is taking time?

Hi,

I think the delay might be due to the network issue and not the JBoss.
Unless there are any Exception occuring on the console.

What kind of a tree? Is the data in the tree exactly the same, and obtained in exactly the same way?
Also is the the first request for the tree only, or does each request take a long time?

Try asking for the home page: http://hostname:8080/
How long does that take compared to asking for the home page on localhost? That should give you some indicate of the network latency.
