Hi,

I`ve heard now we have to pay in order to use Spring framework. Is this true?

I went to their website www.springsource.org and I didn't find any info about paying for framework except for taking trainings. And it is still open-source project under Apache License, Version 2.0.

You only need to pay for support, training, certifications, consultancy and some of their enterprise products (like their optimized enterprise tomcat). As for using their framework(s), this is absolutely free
